A Lot Has Been Happening!...

It's been a long time since I've blogged, I know! I've had lots of thoughts swirling through my head, lots of activities we've done, places we've been and funny things the girls have done that I've wanted to post. BUT in between all that's been happening I just haven't found the time to sit down and write or post pictures. So, right now I'll give a quick update of what's been going on with us and then (when I can find them on the computer) I'll post some new pictures!
  • The end of September we had a wonderful surprise party for Mama for her 60th birthday. The week after that we spent time recovering!

  • In the beginning of October we headed to the mountains for a week. We went to a little town called Tryon, NC. It was quaint and beautiful. Some of the leaves were changing color and we couldn't have asked for better weather! Reagan loved finding rocks and playing with the neighbors dogs. We went and picked apples and Reagan got to pick out her very first pumpkin and decorate it with Mr. Potato Head pieces (pictures to come)! Thankfully, we were able to see Danny and Nikki for a couple of days and visit with them and we were able to see my great aunt and uncle and visit with them, too. Reagan loved having her Aunt Nikki read ALL the books she could find around the cabin!

  • Steve went and bought the girls big Christmas present and him and Dad put it together last weekend. Reagan has had a blast on it so far. She can climb up the rock wall, speed down the slide and fly on the swing. She and Emma were even able to have a little snack out there yesterday! Sydney is just content as can be sitting in her little swing, although
we can't really tell if she really is enjoying it yet or not!

  • Steve is halfway through his semester at school and is doing great! This has been an easy semester so far, which I have enjoyed! =)

  • Sydney is 6 months old and is so adorable! She is rolling all over the place, but I think it will still be a while before she sits up. She just falls over and has no interest in trying to sit up on her own yet. She is such a smiley girl with a very funny, deep laugh. She likes pretending with her big sister (yesterday Reagan served her a full course meal in her bouncy seat!) and watching cartoons. Oh, and so far she loves bed time as much as her sister does. (Thank you, Lord!)
Well, hopefully this quick update brings you back up to speed a little bit with what has been happening over this way. I'll try to get new pictures of the kiddos up quick!
