Jordyn Michaela Roberts Update!!!
Wow! How time flies - well, some days it does, and some days it doesn't! We are 31 weeks along. Tonight we were taking a walk and we were just talking about how we can't believe she is almost here. I was reading tonight and it explains why I feel like there is hardly any room in my belly any more! Jordyn is probably about 18 inches long and at least 3 1/2 pounds (I'm believing she is probably bigger!). So, she's still has some weight to put on, but inches wise, she is almost done growing. I'm not sure how she is going to get much bigger, but it's amazing that she can! We continue praying for a healthy little girl (if she comes out on a schedule, too, we won't complain =)!)
I'm doing well. The Lord has been teaching me that being limited is not a bad thing! My activities have been cut back pretty significantly, but the girls and I have enjoyed being home more! It takes me about two days to clean house (and I have help =)!!), but it's OK. I'm trying to learn what's the most important...which is taking care of my family and feeding my soul - and what that looks like during this season. I think the nesting has begun, too, so I have to remind myself that cobwebs up on the high ceilings are not important. Dinner and clean clothes are important! Playing with the girls everyday, that's important! I'm feeling pretty good - getting a little uncomfortable, but really I have NOTHING to complain about!
Reagan and Sydney have been doing amazing this week as they have started sharing a room. I had braced myself for quite a challenge, but so far everything has gone smoothly. Sydney is actually staying in bed. She wakes up around 6:30 in the morning - which means she is waking Reagan up, but they play until I go to get them at 8 AM. Hopefully it will just continue to get better and better. Reagan loves having Sydney in her room now and Sydney hasn't seemed to miss her crib at all. My dad got the girls cute little blow up princess sleeping bags, so for nap time Reagan has been laying in the nursery on her sleeping bag and looking at library books...I think she thinks she is quite big!!
Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can have the nursery all done! Steve will be traveling more before the baby so that will give me some extra time to get things put together!
(Oh, my husband just played a really mean April Fool's joke on JJ - poor girl - he left a message on her phone telling her we were at the hospital and the baby was on her way. She called back so excited - on her way to the hospital - all to find out she had been totally tricked. Next time she gets the call we'll make sure she knows we aren't joking!!)

That IS a mean joke! Hopefully she'll know you aren't crying wolf when it's for real...

God has His way of reminding us of our priorities doesn't He? The BIGGEST job you have now, is "growing" that "little" one...can't wait to meet Jordyn!
