Quick Update!
Wow! I can't believe it has already been a month since my last post. A lot has transpired in the last month.
We are anxiously awaiting Christmas day when we get to celebrate our precious Savior's birth. It has been especially fun for me this year because Reagan and I have been able to have lots of conversations about why we celebrate Christmas, why we have gifts under the tree, why we give presents away and most importantly why God sent His son to earth. When I ask her why we celebrate Christmas she says "because it's Jesus' birthday"! That makes my heart glad! I hope I can demonstrate to them each and every year what is most important about this season and that I do not become overwhelmed with the shopping and buying and busyness of the season which is so easy for me to do!
Last week we had a memorial service for our Aunt Martha (Ann's sister). We are rejoicing that she is with our Savior, but it has been very sad as well. Reagan asked me the other day where Aunt Martha was and I was able to tell her that she is in heaven. Reagan asked me if she was going to go to heaven one day, too, and I was able to share with her the Gospel once again. What precious days these are. I pray that she will surrender her life to God early on!
We have also had party after party! They all have been so fun! I have left each one so grateful for our friends and families! We are blessed beyond what we deserve, that's for sure!
Mama, Sissy and I had our 10th annual baking day on Saturday!! (They have been baking for much longer than that, but it has been 10 years since I was added in!) We baked from morning until night! This was the first year that we completed every recipe on our list and we only had one little hiccup through it all! (It helps when you double a recipe to double ALL of the ingredients =)!) I do have to admit, too, that was my mistake! We had so much fun, but I was whipped after that!
Well, I have some fun pictures to post soon! Don't know if I'll get to it today, but check back soon!
